What was the highlight of MIROKU NARA by THE SHARE HOTELS
Beautiful, comfy hotel with amazing views close to key sites
Everything! We had a corner room with a view of both a giant pagoda, and a pond with deer grazing around it. The room and bed was huge, the sofa comfy, the bathroom great, the staff lovely. Extremely close to the deer park and so many key shrines and temples. We walked everywhere.

Exceptional
- The location between parc and city, the lake view from my room, the very large windows allowing so much light in. - Great minimal design of the room and the bar, beautiful materials - Fantastic breakfast, complementary tea at the tea room.
- Nothing in particular, not a huge fan of these check in/ check out machines but they are quite common in Japan. Always feel like talking to an actual host makes the experience better.

THE Place to Stay for a Great Time at Nara Park
A truly beautifully-designed hotel situated right at the edge of Nara Park, this place couldn't have been better for our 3-night stay in Nara. It's in a great location (near the bus & subway stations, shopping, and dining), but far enough away from the action that you feel a part of the park. Deer come right up to the patio at breakfast; it's a lovely experience. When we got to our room, 2/4 beds hadn't been set up. I was initially told there'd be an extra charge for them, but with the help of translator, the sweet girl at the front desk reviewed my reservation and confirmed we'd booked a room with 4 beds included. She sent housekeeping up right away while we were at lunch and when we returned, the room was immaculate. The bathroom is so well laid out, especially for a family. The included teas are top-notch, according to my husband, and I really appreciated the laundry machines in the basement. The beds were super comfy and we loved having the Japanese-style low table where we could all eat and gather. Overall, a wonderful stay!
Housekeeping is every other day - not a huge deal for us, especially since they hang fresh towels on the door every morning - but given the prevalence of single-use plastic in Japan (and the tiny trashcans in the rooms) we found our trash to be overflowing in 2 days' time. It would be nice if housekeeping could at least remove trash daily.

Nice location, accommodation and staff
Great location with easy access to both main tourist centres and shops.
A small on: we ordered Japanese breakfast for every day and was the same every day. Rather boring. But is was tasty and, again, this is only a small point
